Everyone knows a different Munari
MUNARI =
Mu (il vuoto, il nulla) nari (fare/divenire)
= fare/divenire dal nulla
A partire dall'evidenza della soglia simbolica costituita dal nome MU-NARI (in giapponese moderno) siamo partiti nel 1996 all'esplorazione del mondo Munariano e all'incontro con un grande maestro realizzando per Medialogo-Provincia di Milano un video-ritratto del format di 30'.
Nel ricordare l'intensita' e l'armonia di quell'incontro in cui una videocamera scrutava e rubava gesti, pause, sorrisi, sguardi, parole,... ci piace cercare di sintetizzare l'intenzionalita' di quella detection , nella piena consapevolezza che anche "Mu come Mu-Nari" e' uno dei tanti Munari. Poiche': <.
Ritratto : (sinonimi, voci attinenti, analogie,...) busto, caricatura,
effigie, faccia, figura, immagine, maschera, miniatura, persona, profilo,
sembianze, silhouette, simulacro, istantanea,...
"Mu" come "Rosebud" ovvero dell'impossibilita'/impraticabilita' dell'arte
del "ritratto". "A rose is a rose"/"Munari e' Munari"... ...e allora
per raccontare Munari bisogna diventare Munariani...: esercizi di stile,
cornici flexybili, tautologie, giochi di immagini, voci e voci di dizionari,
codici ovvi, verbali scritti, scatole cinesi, ideogrammi, ricordi in
forma di haiku, gesti zen, testimonianze in forma di koan, biografie
e auto-biografie "immaginarie" (perche' iper-dettagliate e minuziose),
...
Un viaggio nell'universo Munariano alla ricerca del segreto di quell'antico
ideogramma ("mu": il vuoto, il nulla) e di quella porta di cui parla
un antico proverbio cinese: << I maestri aprono l'uscio, ma devi entrare
da solo >>.
P. S.: Abbiamo incontrato Bruno Munari varie volte, prima e dopo le riprese del video, ma ci rimane in qualche modo la strana consapevolezza che la cornice (flessibile) dell'inquadratura, quel giorno, avesse costituito come una specie di dispositivo magico capace di mettere a fuoco indelebilmente il tragitto delle frecce di un grande arciere zen.
